Der Leitende Oberarzt (hygienebeauftragter Arzt) führt regelmäßig und nach Bedarf Kurzschulungen zu allen relevanten Hygienethemen durch. Die externe Hygienefachkraft steht darüber hinaus in engem Kontakt zum hygienebeauftragten Arzt und zur Fortbildungsabteilung, um zeitnah Defizite zu erkennen.
