Die Abteilung Pädiatrie (KI) nimmt an dem DMP Diabetes mellitus Typ 1 (DIA1) seit Januar 2007 teil. In diesem Rahmen beteiligt sich die Abteilung auch an einem externen Qualitätsvergleich (DPV-Benchmarking) der Universität Ulm. Der Kinderklinik wurde ein besonderes Interesse an einer bestmöglichen Versorgung der Patienten bescheinigt.
