Die Klinik für Diabetologie und Ernährungsmedizin am Bürgerhospital Frankfurt nimmt am DMP als Haus der "3. Versorgungsstufe" teil. Das heißt, dass Diabetiker stationär behandelt werden, bei denen weder durch Hausärzte noch Fachärzte eine adäquate Einstellung des Blutzuckers möglich ist.
